How we are funded
Eurocare is supported through members’ contributions, both in memberships fees and staff time.
Eurocare has also received funding from the European Commission and WHO for various projects and publications.
Eurocare does not accept any funding from the alcohol industry or any of its social aspects organisation
Eurocare is not affiliated to the alcohol beverage industry or its social aspects organisations through any other membership or network
Past projects and publications include:
Bridging the Gap: Alcohol Policy Network in the Context of a Larger Europe
- A major project awarded to Eurocare in by the European Commission, running from 2004 to 2006.
Alcohol Problems in the Family: A Report to the European Union
- A joint project of EUROCARE and COFACE (Confederation of Family Organisations in the European Union), this report was published in 1996, and received financial support from the European Commission.
Counterbalancing the Drinks Industry: A Summary of the Eurocare Report on Alcohol Policy in the European Union
- This report was funded by the European Commission, and published in 1995.
